Press Release - Manual Transmission Module Introduced, August 1, 2007

Today's Class (www.todaysclass.com) announces the introduction of a new course module, Manual Transmission, to its web-based automotive education program.

Manual Transmission covers the components and operating principles of the manual drive train, transaxle, clutch, driveshaft and differential, as well as applicable diagnosis and service procedures. Full of vivid animation and interactive exercises, the module is a highly anticipated addition to Today's Class' course catalog.

Today's Class also offers courses in basic and advanced electrical systems, circuits and meters, steering and suspension, brakes, engine performance, and shop safety. The program continues to be a great success in schools and vocational institutions nationwide, providing instructors a valuable curriculum resource while delivering interactive concepts to students. Currently, Today's Class has launched more than 28,000 modules in 25 states.

"These programs do more than teach automotive technology," says Stan Moczulski of Career Institute of Technology. "They use integrated applied academics, allowing the student to see the value and need for math, science, and communication skills in career and technical education."

Each of Today's Class' courses provides essential study tools and reporting features for both the student and the instructor. Students may access printable job sheets and study guides, save their places with bookmarking options, and receive instant feedback on quiz and test questions. An Instructor Toolbox supplies applicable NATEF task sheets and resource documents. The Learning Management System handles grading, feedback, reporting, student communication, and technical support issues.

"The material is included in a Learning Management System that is very user friendly for the instructor," says Keith Littleton of Virginia College. "We have found that lecture time is significantly reduced as students can learn theory and concepts online. This permits more time for laboratory activities."

Today's Class delivers web-based automotive technician training to students of all skill levels. Accessible from any computer with internet connectivity, the program is a self-paced, fully interactive supplement to the instructor's curriculum.

"Today's Class is absolutely the best online tool for student learning I have seen," says Mark Maund of Virginia Beach Technical Center. "The student success has been tremendous."
